Stallion Shows 2021 - Date Announcement
Due to the Corona restrictions, the presentations cannot take place in the usual form this year. Via ClipmyHorse.TV, the stallion owners offer all interested parties the possibility to follow the presentation online.
The stallion presentation of the Hengststation Maas J. Hell will take place on 7 February at 11.00 a.m. in Klein Offenseth.
On 20 February at 2.00 p.m. the Holstein Verband stallions will present themselves to breeders and interested parties via ClipMyHorse.TV in Elmshorn.
The stallion show of the Privathengsthalter will take place on 21 February at 3 p.m. exclusively via ClipMyHorse and will be broadcast from the riding hall in Negernbötel.

With the turn of the year Stephan Haarhoff (27) and Roland Metz (48) haven taken over their new tasks as Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes breeding director and executive director, respectively. In this interview, they talk about their plans and visions for shaping the future of the Holsteiner horse.

Holsteiner January Stallion Licensing: Two licensed, five stallions on stud trial
Out of 17 stallions attending the Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes Elmshorn approval to be graded by the commission in early January, two left the Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena with the coveted breeding license and five more stallions have been accepted on a stud trial basis.
For breeding director Stephan Haarhoff, who has succeeded Dr. Thomas Nissen with the beginning of 2021, is has been the first licensing event in this capacity. He has been working for the Holsteiner Verband for 1.5 years now and has learned the ropes. “For a January approval, the great number of signed up stallions carrying interesting and diverse bloodlines has been impressive and gratifying”, according to Haarhoff. “Among those to convince the panel and become licensed for breeding is also a TB, Innenminister.”
